Aberdeen's Park and Recreation board will move forward with a plan to expand camping at Wylie Park. The City Council approved the plan in a 7 to 1 vote.

During the summer, the park often has to turn campers away because it's full. The new expansion will add 22 camping cabins, 23 R-V sites and a tenting area.

Officials expect the project to cost about $2 million and believe it should bring in over a $100,000 each year.
